Shop Partner Agreement

Who this applies to: Shop owners, service providers, doctors, and any business partner ("Partner") who lists their shop or services on the Tigen platform.

1. Becoming a Partner

  • Complete KYC verification (Aadhaar + PAN or GST registration)
  • Provide accurate business information including address and category
  • Agree to these terms during onboarding in the Tigen Partner app
  • Maintain at least one active product or service listing after activation

Tigen reserves the right to approve or reject any partner application at its sole discretion.

2. Partner obligations

  • Accuracy: Keep product listings, prices, and availability current. Remove out-of-stock items promptly.
  • Order acceptance: Accept or reject orders within the acceptance window (5 minutes in production). Repeated non-response may result in account suspension.
  • Quality: Deliver products/services matching their listed description. Do not substitute items without customer consent.
  • Legal compliance: Hold all required licences for your business category (FSSAI for food, pharmacy licence for medicines, medical registration for doctors).
  • GST: Collect and remit applicable GST independently. Tigen does not act as your tax agent.
  • Prohibited items: Do not list narcotics, counterfeit goods, unlicensed medicines, weapons, or any item prohibited under Indian law.

Transaction fees are charged by Razorpay — not by Tigen — and deducted from each settlement. Subscription fees are billed via in-app purchase (Google Play / App Store) and are non-refundable.

4. Settlements and payouts

  • Tigen releases payouts once a week, every Monday, subject to change on public holidays (in which case the payout is processed on the next working day).
  • Payouts are transferred to your linked bank account after deducting applicable platform fees and any outstanding dues.
  • Ensure your bank account details and KYC are complete and accurate to avoid payout delays.

5. Content licence

By uploading product images, descriptions, and shop information, you grant Tigen a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and promote this content on the Tigen platform and in marketing materials. You retain ownership of your content.

You warrant that you own or have licences for all uploaded content and that it does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights.

6. Customer disputes and refunds

  • Partners are responsible for resolving disputes related to order quality, wrong items, or service failures.
  • Tigen may issue refunds on behalf of partners and recover the amount from future settlements in cases of verified partner fault.
  • Tigen's dispute resolution decision is final subject to the grievance escalation process.

7. Account suspension and termination

Tigen may suspend or terminate a partner account immediately for:

  • KYC fraud or misrepresentation
  • Repeated order rejections or low fulfillment rate (<70% over 30 days)
  • Selling prohibited items
  • Customer fraud or abuse
  • Chargebacks exceeding 2% of monthly transactions
  • Regulatory non-compliance

Partners may appeal suspension within 7 days by contacting partners@tigen.in.

8. Data handling

As a Partner, you receive customer name and delivery address solely for order fulfilment. You must not use this data for any other purpose, share it with third parties, or retain it beyond the order fulfilment period. Violation constitutes a breach of this Agreement and the DPDP Act 2023.

9. Indemnification

You indemnify and hold harmless Tigen, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: your products/services, your content, your violation of these terms, or your non-compliance with applicable law.

10. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this Agreement with 30 days notice to your registered email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Tigen Partner platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
