Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using the Tigen application or visiting tigen.in, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and BG DigiSetu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Tigen", "we", "us").
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You must be a resident of India.
- You must provide accurate registration information including a valid Indian mobile number.
- One account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
3. Services
Tigen provides a hyperlocal marketplace enabling:
- Customers: discover local shops, place orders, book doctor appointments, request items via Tigen Find
- Shop Partners: list products/services, receive orders, manage bookings, subscribe to a paid plan
- Doctors: list availability, accept appointment bookings, manage prescriptions
Tigen is a platform intermediary — we do not own, manufacture, or warrant any products sold by shops. Transactions are between customers and shops directly.
4. Account obligations
- Keep your OTP confidential. Do not share access with others.
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorised account access at security@tigen.in
- Do not use automated tools, bots, or scrapers on the platform.
- Do not attempt to circumvent security measures, rate limits, or access controls.
- Do not impersonate any person, shop, or doctor on the platform.
5. Orders and payments
- Orders placed constitute an offer to purchase. Acceptance occurs when the shop confirms the order.
- Prices are set by shops. Tigen does not guarantee price accuracy.
- Payment is processed via Razorpay. Card data is never stored by Tigen.
- Tigen Wallet credits are non-transferable and expire 12 months from last use.
- In case of payment disputes, contact support@tigen.in within 7 days of the transaction.
6. Cancellations and refunds
See our Refund Policy for complete details. Summary:
- Orders may be cancelled before the shop accepts them — full refund within 5–7 business days.
- After shop acceptance, cancellations are subject to shop-specific policies.
- Doctor appointment cancellations: full refund if cancelled 2+ hours before appointment time.
- Subscription plans are non-refundable once activated (except as required by Indian law).
7. Prohibited conduct
You may not use Tigen to:
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory content or reviews
- Sell counterfeit, prohibited, or illegal goods
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or chargebacks
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, shop partners, or delivery personnel
- Violate any applicable Indian law including the IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, Consumer Protection Act 2019
- Attempt to extract personal data of other users
Violations may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to appropriate authorities.
8. Intellectual property
All Tigen brand assets, software, designs, and content are owned by BG DigiSetu Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and protected under Indian copyright and trademark law. Shop partners retain ownership of their product images and descriptions but grant Tigen a non-exclusive licence to display them on the platform.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
Tigen is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by shops on the platform.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Tigen's aggregate liability for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Pune, India. We encourage resolution through our grievance process before initiating legal proceedings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with 14 days notice via in-app notification or email. Continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
